Would Not RecommendDid my entire deck in toasted sand and less than 6 months nearly all the decking had split. Direct sun here in Hawaii caused it to crack than split. Trex warranty is so-so. They helped me through the process of getting replacement boards but doesn’t cover labor, etc… Now 8 months later the new boards are cracking as well. These boards do not hold up. Really let down. I wanted to buy a lot more because it looks clean but boy it’s been a headache and now I’m out over $3000 on split trex boards plu...

Would RecommendWe bought this on sale at Lowes and gave it to our builder. It was about 20% off and we were able to do our whole 7' wrap around deck in trex. The only issue I have is that we had to use a Clamshell for the trim because they didnt have the exact matching trim (12") boards. However it still looks great and you can't tell the difference.

Examine the board edges
These were just installed. I expect they'll continue to look good for a long time. But I suggest you examine the boards closely when you pick them up. We had ordered carefully so that we'd have boards with no seams, and when we unpacked them, there was damage on one board edge, so we had to have a seam after all.

Curls up at the ends.
Would Not RecommendI secured decking in some places only 3 inches from the end and it still curled up. A previous installation of a different product fastened the same way has not curled. I am forced to pull it all up and put in additional supports at the exact end

Would Not RecommendLike the product very much. Very easy to work with and cuts very clean with a good blade. Installation with the clips is simple especially on an existing deck which I did. I also feel the price is very reasonable and knowing that I will not have to paint or treat it is a huge selling point for me.
