Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Naturals 1-in x 6-in x 12.0-ft Rocky Harbor Grooved Composite Deck Board

Great Decking

Trex Enhance Naturals 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Coastal Bluff Grooved Composite Deck Board is the perfect deck board. They are easy to work with and durable. I have built two decks with Trex and have never had a problem. The best part about the Trex decking is that is it maintenance free and does not stain. Cleaning is as easy as rinsing with the hose. I'd build a third deck with Trex.

Great for outdoor decks

I use Trex a lot as a contractor and this product by far is the most superior for decks. East clean up and non maintenance is stress free for customers. Also east installation makes for easier installation. I would definitely always recommend Trex. I also love the many colors offered by Trex.

redo of old decking

All boards look great and went down easily with the anchoring system, first time using this product .. Used 17 boards to make a 20 X 8 completed deck, have had raves from all who saw the redo...I guess time will tell how this turns out... a few years from now..

Board Width Variance

I did extensive research prior to committing to this product. I measured many samples to verify board width. The samples I measured were 5.500” +/-.010”. My deck is over 60ft long x 15ft wide. There are four bays of boards, each bay separated by double parting boards. First three bays were 16ft boards. I got to the last bay only to find out that the 12ft boards on average were 3/32” WIDER than the 16ft boards. Although this does not sound like a lot, when laying down (31) boards, it soon adds up...

Good product, easy to install

Used this same product last year on my smaller deck for practice. Everything went so well, wife is having me use this exact same product this year on our large deck

1300sq feet of Trex

We bought this on sale at Lowes and gave it to our builder. It was about 20% off and we were able to do our whole 7' wrap around deck in trex. The only issue I have is that we had to use a Clamshell for the trim because they didnt have the exact matching trim (12") boards. However it still looks great and you can't tell the difference.

Examine the board edges

These were just installed. I expect they'll continue to look good for a long time. But I suggest you examine the boards closely when you pick them up. We had ordered carefully so that we'd have boards with no seams, and when we unpacked them, there was damage on one board edge, so we had to have a seam after all.
