The actual packet I got only had pieces for horizontal installation. It was special ordered. I had to pick it up. Then I had to return it. Does NOT come with angled connector
This connector kit is necessary to reuse any event rail portions cut from the full rail kit. However, it doesn't contain the angled blocks necessary to use with stair rail kits.

For the handrail going down the stairs, I had to drill each hole at an angle to get the balusters to line up. Had it not been for that I would have given it 5 stars. And it's a bit pricey, couldn't imagine a large projects cost.

Would Not RecommendThese stair railing connectors are just horrible! The little piece that snaps in for the stair angle pops apart when trying to screw in. If that were the only problem, then I would give maybe 3 or 4 stars, but there is no way to get the angle cut correctly and have these work. They will create a gap where the railing meets the post. You either cut to the bracket angle & create a gap or you cut to post/stair angle and create a gap! What!! Poor engineering at its finest. Make them out of metal wit...
