What Customers Are Saying
The product allows users to split longer railing sections into two shorter ones, which can save money. While some customers found the connectors easy to use and install, others reported issues with missing or incompatible parts, difficulty achieving the proper angle for stair railings, and poor quality of the screws. Despite these drawbacks, the majority of customers seemed satisfied with the connectors, especially for smaller deck projects where splitting a single railing kit is beneficial.

Would RecommendProduct is good but my hardware kit was missing and the store wasn’t helpful on getting another kit. So I had to order myself through another company
Screw bent
Bent screw in the hardware pack. Since there are no extras, kind of out of luck. Should include 1 extra of each of the screws.

Great for using one railing kit for two sections
Would RecommendThese are a must have if you want to use one Trex Railing kit to split into two sections, especially for a smaller deck. Saves you from having to spend the extra money on two kits, and waste a lot of material.

Works as Expected
Would RecommendWe picked these up as extras after a larger order of Trex railings. Not something you would use on it's own, but if you are installing Trex railings, you will need these if they don't come with the railings themselves.
As described

Easy to install
Would RecommendThe railing system is easy to install. The self threading screws have a special square top so your Phillips bit doesn’t fit them, just be aware of that. I also found it easier to pre-drill the holes so the screws bit easier during installation. I also installed them by myself so a good set of quick clamps helped.
Makes 2 from a long railing
Would RecommendThe price was a bit high, but it saves when you are able to cut 1 larger railing into two small ones
trex is well made
