What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for exceptional durability, realistic wood-like appearance, and minimal maintenance. Reviewers consistently describe boards as solid, heavyweight, and resistant to rot, warping, and fading, with many citing the 25-year warranty as confidence in longevity. The natural grain, rich color tones, and authentic wood feel are frequently commended as primary purchase drivers. Most find installation straightforward, though some note the weight requires effort. A few report color inconsistencies between samples and final product or occasional warping upon arrival, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by overall satisfaction with performance and aesthetics.

Would RecommendColor match to Armadillo decking was very close. It's hard as a rock. Even self-drilling deck screws had trouble penetrating, so I drilled pilot holes. Worked perfectly.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
