Color Problems Ruining Deck Look

I am using Trex in a 1000 ft sq deck job. I decided on Trex Transcend Island Mist. A third of the way through I started running into boards that have serious coloration discrepancies with the rest of my deck. My vendor contacted the Trex rep to address the issue and two days later, nothing. I am stuck waiting. The product might be good, but color quality control is very poor. See attached photo. Great product but $96 for a 16 foot board?

Trex is a great product but what is Lowe's thinking selling this color at $6 per linear foot? That's outrageous, hence the low rating.

It's solid heavy

Quality Deck Board

I like the color, though whether this color works for you will obviously depend upon a number of other factors. Great product!

It is such a great product. A nice thick and heavy board that looks great as well. Can't beat this board. Would definitely use these boards on any other home projects that we decide to do in the future.

Super Durable!

I left it outside on my porch so I could see the color in different lighting throughout the day and how it would wear through the elements. The water beaded up and off of the tile and was not slippery when it rained. I am really happy with it!

Sturdy Material

Transcend Havana Gold Deck Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the decking I was very surprised at how real it looked, very rich in color, heavy duty, and could tell it will last for a life time. Not having to retreat and stain my deck every year is going to be so nice. Easy cleaning of deck with just a power washer or even a long handle scrub brush. I would recommend that everyone would consider using this product when building a new deck.

Realistic looking wood. Love it

I love that they have many different styles and colors to accommodate your taste. These boards are very strong and thick , I think these boards would last a long time and seem very weather resistant. The color is much better than i expected a very high quality product overall and is greatly recommended.
