Would Not RecommendAs beautiful as this product is in the beginning, it's not worth it in the end. If you are worried about scratches and stains, yes, this product will indeed scratch and stain. Yes, there is maintenance required on this product to keep it looking nice but once you scratch it or it gets stained, you are stuck with it unless you replace it. Would RecommendI have a 1200 square foot deck that I am redoing in sections with the Trex Trancend Island Mist. Similar to other composite products I have to work with the temperature and direct sun light have an impact on the length and even the width. Once you know this you work around it and it works. Very happy with final look of this product. Our front porch is the same material and it is holding up perfectly.

As I ran my hand across the board I was able to feel the texture and the deep crevice on the board. The thickness was definitely a plus. Beautiful warm wood color
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sample definitely looks and feels like wood. It does scratch like wood, but unlike wood, it's the same color all the way through, so no prob. It sheds water like a duck and I can imagine it will wear very well in the elements. Something to consider for a renovation is the very heavy weight of the product. Make sure it will be properly supported. Would love to have this on my front porch!
