What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the composite decking for its realistic wood appearance, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. Reviewers consistently highlight the beautiful finish, resistance to rot and splinters, and ease of installation with standard tools and hidden fasteners. Many emphasize the "set it and forget it" appeal, noting no staining, sanding, or ongoing upkeep needed. The material feels sturdy and solid underfoot with long-lasting color. A few report isolated instances of board warping or surface heat in direct sunlight, though these concerns are vastly outweighed by strong overall satisfaction and recommendation.

Replacing a 20 year old pressure treated wood deck. Removing wood planks nailed with ring nails is hard. Replacing trex is much easier.

Great Quality and Support
Would RecommendI bought the 20 foot Trex decking needed to finish my job. It was a special order. The pricing was very reasonable and lower than other store lumber yards. The order was received ahead of schedule with unmatched quality. The Lowes staff went out of their way way to assist us in loading our truck. Thanks!

TREC Enhance Defective Batch 2023-2024
Would Not RecommendMany other people and I are having difficulties getting the TREX Corporation to honor its warranty regarding its composite deck boards. In 2023, I hired a reputable local deck-building company to replace my old pressure-treated lumber with TREX Enhance decking. Upon arrival, many of the boards were warped and had to be returned. Since 2023, my TREX boards have continually warped, suffered severe cupping, and turned soft in many spots. A simple Google search reveals that this is a known issue wit...

Very Flexible
Would RecommendI bought about 20 of these for a low profile deck. It was well supported with plenty of cross braces and noggins to reduce gaps between the supports under the deck. However, I still find that these composite planks have so much wobble and play. When I stand on the deck it still has a little bit of bounce. Also, I used composite deck screws but I found that when I screwed them into the boards over the cross braces, sometimes, the screw would take while to catch and times it would feel like it hit...
