Customers overwhelmingly praise the beautiful appearance, exceptional durability, and straightforward installation of this composite decking. The Clam Shell color is especially favored for its sophisticated gray tone and versatility. Reviewers consistently highlight the low-maintenance nature, resistance to splinters and fading, and realistic aesthetic that rivals natural wood. The hidden fastener system and lightweight boards make installation accessible even for DIYers. Associates went out of their way to help
Would RecommendI did not like trying to get hold of a department. The system would not respond for almost a minute. And a few times it just hung up on me. What I did like the very friendly staff in person and over the phone( once I got through). Another issue was on the web site that said there were items to purchase but when talking to an associate, it was stated that the product on line had not been available for quite some time

Better than wood for Canaan Valley, WV
Would RecommendBought a small place with old, deteriorating, very small decks. Did the porch with same footprint. Tore off back deck, expanded it to use 16’. Easy to work with. Husband had them done in a couple days per. Next up: a walkway leading to a back deck off Sunporch. Definitely the way to go whether harsh winters or extreme temperatures. Used Clamshell.

Does the Job
Would RecommendWe have an 80-foot deck along the backside of her house that we have been putting in for a couple years now, the 16 ft trex, warped and curled up on the edges. They were stored properly and installed properly with a huge French drain underneath. We have had to replace approximately 20 pieces and alternate them with the bad pieces so the deck looks good and works well. The warranty offered is not a very good warranty, we know the deck will be better than it wooden with less maintenance. However d...

Ease of use.
This was my first time using this type of product. I’ve always used lumber for building. This was easy to cut, easy to put screws through and a lot more uniform than lumber. I looked at redwood and compared prices, of not just the initial cost but that of maintenance as well. This product is worth every penny.
