Would RecommendBought a small place with old, deteriorating, very small decks. Did the porch with same footprint. Tore off back deck, expanded it to use 16’. Easy to work with. Husband had them done in a couple days per. Next up: a walkway leading to a back deck off Sunporch. Definitely the way to go whether harsh winters or extreme temperatures. Used Clamshell.

Great color and consistency boards
Would RecommendPurchased composite decking boards from Lowe’s and have been very happy with the quality. The boards were straight, consistent in color, and easy to work with during installation. They feel solid underfoot and should require much less maintenance than traditional wood decking. Overall, a great value for the price, and the project turned out looking fantastic.

Would RecommendI’ve really enjoyed working with this product and feel confident that this composite deck should give me many years of maintenance free use. The deck is now absolutely gorgeous! Do the research on the installation of this product and carefully plan. It’s expensive stuff so mistakes are costly. Fasteners aren’t cheap either but definitely worth it to use the hidden fasteners system. h on the installation of this product

Would RecommendWe have an 80-foot deck along the backside of her house that we have been putting in for a couple years now, the 16 ft trex, warped and curled up on the edges. They were stored properly and installed properly with a huge French drain underneath. We have had to replace approximately 20 pieces and alternate them with the bad pieces so the deck looks good and works well. Ease of use.
This was my first time using this type of product. I’ve always used lumber for building. This was easy to cut, easy to put screws through and a lot more uniform than lumber. I looked at redwood and compared prices, of not just the initial cost but that of maintenance as well. This product is worth every penny.
