Ratings & Reviews for Trex Enhance Basics 1-in x 6-in x 12-ft Clam Shell Composite Deck Board Grooved/Scalloped

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its stunning natural appearance, consistent color quality, and exceptional durability. Most highlight how easy it is to cut, fasten, and install, especially with hidden fastener systems that create a seamless look. Reviewers consistently note the material outperforms traditional wood, requires minimal maintenance, and delivers strong long-term value that justifies the upfront cost. A few mention the surface becomes very hot in direct sunlight, and rare instances of warped boards occur, but these minor issues do not diminish overall customer satisfaction and strong recommendation.

Would Not Recommendthis is a durable product but buy beware...it is very slippery. I had to carpet runners all over it so my dog doesn't break a hip. it is slippery 24/7, wet or dry. it looks great but just don't walk on it.

Floor boards warped
Would RecommendThe boards were warped from the shelf braces not being level. Caused the boards to curl up on the ends that made installation difficult. Talked to associate on next trip and they were going to fix shelving.

Look over product
Like the product, but the product your staff chose was terrible. The trek deck was dirty and some had scratches. Seems like old material you couldn’t sell in the store but give to people who order online. Not very fair to the people who order online.
