What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its durability, low maintenance, and natural wood-like appearance without rot or splinters. Most appreciate the ease of installation using standard tools and the long-term value compared to traditional wood. The consistent color and seamless finish are frequently highlighted as attractive features. Many note it resists warping, insect damage, and requires no staining or painting. Some mention the material becomes very hot in direct sunlight, and a few report edge warping if joist spacing exceeds manufacturer guidelines or slipperiness when wet. Overall, reviewers consider it a worthwhile long-term investment.

Would Not RecommendMany other people and I are having difficulties getting the TREX Corporation to honor its warranty regarding its composite deck boards. In 2023, I hired a reputable local deck-building company to replace my old pressure-treated lumber with TREX Enhance decking. Upon arrival, many of the boards were warped and had to be returned. Since 2023, my TREX boards have continually warped, suffered severe cupping, and turned soft in many spots. A simple Google search reveals that this is a known issue wit...

Very Flexible
Would RecommendI bought about 20 of these for a low profile deck. It was well supported with plenty of cross braces and noggins to reduce gaps between the supports under the deck. However, I still find that these composite planks have so much wobble and play. When I stand on the deck it still has a little bit of bounce. Also, I used composite deck screws but I found that when I screwed them into the boards over the cross braces, sometimes, the screw would take while to catch and times it would feel like it hit...

Very durable product
Would Not RecommendThe only problem I had was the order was spread over several months due to several reasons. First the store doesn’t carry a complete stock of items needed pertaining to this product, second the store employee associated with the product was not thorough of product-didn’t explain enough on product, did not explain the product fasteners (screws) on how many needed or explained that I could ordered big box of fasteners so wouldn’t need to buy more! and DID NOT follow through making sure that the pl...

Would RecommendI bought this to redo my daughters porch so there won't have to do so much maintenance every year. The porch that was on the house was splintering and warping. This will help from having to do maintenance every year is rot Resistance stain resistance warping.
