What Customers Are Saying
The Trex Transcend composite decking is described as a high-quality and durable product that is well-suited for outdoor use. Customers praised the attractive appearance, particularly the Island Mist color, and noted the decking's sturdiness, scratch-resistance, and ability to withstand weather without requiring much maintenance. The hidden fastener system and 25-year warranty were also highlighted as beneficial features. While a few minor drawbacks were mentioned, such as the boards being heavy and potentially scratching, the overall customer feedback was very positive.

Good solid decking
Would RecommendColor match to Armadillo decking was very close. It's hard as a rock. Even self-drilling deck screws had trouble penetrating, so I drilled pilot holes. Worked perfectly.

Shrinkflation Strikes Again
Would RecommendTrex is a good product, but apparently the size has changed over the years. We build our deck in 2017 with Trex Transcend Spiced Rum boards, and there was one edge that I wasn't happy with. Finally decided to replace it and guess what? The new trim boards are about 1/2 narrower than they used to be.
