Love the color and the feel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sample was the first of this kind I had ever seen. The quality of the board is great. I would definitely use this to replace decking or to build a new deck. I even wet the the sample piece to see how water would do on it. The water beaded up and was easy clean up. The best part is not having to stain the deck every year.

No need to stain your deck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love about this composite deck board is there is no need to sand and stain the deck. I have my Trex composite deck for over 8 years and it looks still brand new. Not once did I have to worry about the color of my deck fading or breaking. So, this new color pebble grey deck board sample makes me want to have a new deck due to the new grey grain look. The board is strong and very durable. I can totally vouch for this product.

Heavy and nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample board, and of course, it's a little hard to review a sample deck board since I didn't install a full deck with this product. However... the board arrived in a flat package and the board had a sizable dent/nick on it. Which leads me to believe that if I dropped something heavy onto the deck, it would dent it. And unlike wood, i don't think you can sand or fix that with this composite material. That said... it's super heavy...

Very durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this piece that was sent for me to review through a full test , i stepped, i stomped, i dropped, i dropped things on it , my husband shot a bb gun at it , no damage what so ever, it is extremely strong , we plan on building a wrap around porch and this is what we chose to use. I have let several friends review the board the only complaint i heard was color choice, that they would go with a different color.

Oh To Have This As My Deck Material!

It has a slope to it since it's built on a slight incline road. The worst part about the backyard is no place to truly entertain. I have 4 grills, 2 fire pits, lots of chairs and they all just sit on the grass. I need a deck! I sent for this sample because my siding is maintenance free and I wanted my deck to be the same. Doesn't Need Painting

Expensive but easy to work with, every board is the same - straight and true, and eliminates the need to paint your deck. Keep it well supported and it will not sag. Use Trex hidden clips - expensive also but they work very well, and eliminate unsightly surface screws. Can't comment about longevity.

Pebble grey Trex

My Trex deck stains in a heartbeat and I have to pressure wash green algae off every year. The stains will not come out ! My deck was installed by a contractor.
