Trex Deck Boards

Trex is hard as nails. It takes a lot of abuse, and keeps its color. What I found that is a major weak point is that over time it curls up at its sides. My installation has hidden retainers every twelve inches. Far more than the recommended sixteen inch spacing. This curling allows rain water to pool on each board and in my location promotes algae growth. It still beats painted boards hands down. I just wish it didn't have that curling propensity.

Solid

The Trex composite deck board is very solid and I expect it to hold up well. I used to make covers for my water meter box

Quality decking

I had to replace a board which I broke accessing a plumbing issue. After 6 yrs the old has almost zero fade compared to new board. It was shipped to my Lowes in two days and was immediately notified.

Great looking, durable product

This Trex saddle board is very well made and is a very good looking choice that gives you the grain or real wood. It is flexible and a little heavy but makes for easy installation. Would def recommend to anyone in the market for this type of de king board with a brown/tan color.

Great maintenance free decking

I have used Trex decking on several projects and have been very pleased with the results. It is easy to install, wears well and does not fade in the intense Florida summer sun. Cleaning is easy with soap and water and light pressure washer spraying. I highly recommend for decking, especially in a high humidity climate.

Trex Composite Deck Board

We redid our small deck and our front porch with grey composite and white railing to match our window trim. It's jewelry on our house! It looks beautiful. We are looking forward to not needing to do anything more that wash it off in the spring!

Trex Select-pebble gray

Special ordered ten 16 ft.boards of Trex Select in Pebble Gray. Came in w/o any damage. Has worked well. Have had same Trex on my front porch stairs and landing for a year and it still looks good. Now building large deck.

Still waiting

I have used this product previously with good results. This order however was placed over 2 week ago and I still have not received it. I called my local store yesterday morning to inquire about delivery and have not yet received an answer (a day and a half later). Not too happy now.

Trex Select

Ordered this product on line to finish deck that was being built. Originally bought larger quantity of 16' boards from a different supplier. Ordered these as did not need the 16' lengths to finish project. Boards matched others perfectly and installed in no time. Could have gone with a cheaper line of composite board but after looking around at some other decks found they do not hold up very well as cheaper products were cracking and splintering.

Hard as wood but so much nicer...

Durable and easy to care for
