What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the authentic wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and low-maintenance benefits. The heavy, sturdy construction resists warping, scratching, mildew, and weather damage, with many noting the realistic wood grain and rich color remain consistent over time. Reviewers particularly appreciate eliminating annual sealing and staining tasks, requiring only occasional cleaning with a damp cloth. The grooved edges and hidden fastener compatibility simplify installation, and the recycled material composition appeals to environmentally conscious buyers. A few mention slight slipperiness when wet, though most consider this negligible. Overall, customers strongly recommend it as a superior alternative to traditional wood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressed by the way this is put together. holding a blank in your hand would give you confidence that this isn't some cheap material that will deteriorate over time. You do give up a little bit in the way it looks, but from 3-4 feet away its indistinguishable from real wood. Not to mention the advantages it has against real wood (no need to seal or take care of it - e.g. spills etc.).

Beautiful Decking Option
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an impressive alternative to wood decking material. The color is rich and goes all the way through, and the material itself is very strong which indicates it would not warp readily. It is very pricey but, frankly, worth it considering how often I have had to replace my wood decking which takes a beating due to a full southern exposure. I would definitely opt for this next time I am ready to redo my deck.

Does NOT get slippery when it gets wet which is very important to our family! Does NOT scratch easily - we have big dogs and they have never left a scratch on it!!

Very solid and durable!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was considering adding a cedar deck to my house to match my fence. A friend suggested I try a manufactured alternative that would require less maintenance. I checked out a sample of the Transcend Deck Board in the Spiced Rum color. It was surprisingly heavy and solid! It was also thicker than I expected. The color is nice, and the wood grain is deeply etched into the surface. If you scrutinize it, with your face inches from it, you can tell i...
