Great for decks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is nice! It doesn’t scratch when furniture is pulled across it. It’s very durable for everyday use. It looks like a natural dark wood and will look good on a deck or porch. Highly recommend it if you are redoing a deck or porch and want something that will not have to be repacked in the near future like an unfinished wood deck or porch.

Trex Transend Island Mist Decking

Liked it so much on our new deck that I have decided to replace all of the railing on my other deck with the same. The old wood took a beating in the sun, but the Trex holds up and keeps its color.

Has anyone actually USED this product?

I'm looking for legitimate reviews, as this is VERY expensive. ALL reviews on here are from promotions which asked opinions, not from users. They should be deleted.

Color Problems Ruining Deck Look

I am using Trex in a 1000 ft sq deck job. I decided on Trex Transcend Island Mist. A third of the way through I started running into boards that have serious coloration discrepancies with the rest of my deck. My vendor contacted the Trex rep to address the issue and two days later, nothing. I am stuck waiting. The product might be good, but color quality control is very poor. See attached photo. Great product but $96 for a 16 foot board?

Trex is a great product but what is Lowe's thinking selling this color at $6 per linear foot? That's outrageous, hence the low rating.

Amazing texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, it is absolutely beautiful the texture is amazing and the heaviness and strength is wonderful. My patio is 3 years old and the wood looks horrible already with this it will last forever beautiful. The color is rich and the ridges look real, you will love this product.

smooth and pretty

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board appears to be good quality. I stepped on it and poured water on it. The water slid right off the board. If I was to build a deck, I would definitely consider this brand.

Gorgeous finish!

I'm also thrilled at how sturdy the construction feels. Seriously, it feels like you could use this thing to hammer in nails. I know it could stand up to my kiddo and dogs running on it!

Deck faux wood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best options I have seen for using on a deck. The wood grain and color are a better choice than real wood. Love not having to do additional maintenance every year.
