Trex Transcend Has a Winner in These Deck Boards!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sample board of Transcend Lava Rock Deck Board impressed me with its heft and solid nature. This is a board that will last and last as part of a deck. A medium-dark shade of brown, it's finished with realistic wood grain all along the course. The grooves along the side of the board make me think that a deck made of these boards would be both durable and beautiful. Trex Transcend has a winner here!

Very solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boards are solid and strong. Whatever you build with them will last a very, very long time. The color is vibrant and the boards have a wood grain designed into them, providing a classy appearance.

Great for decks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is nice! It doesn’t scratch when furniture is pulled across it. It’s very durable for everyday use. It looks like a natural dark wood and will look good on a deck or porch. Highly recommend it if you are redoing a deck or porch and want something that will not have to be repacked in the near future like an unfinished wood deck or porch.

Trex Transend Island Mist Decking

Liked it so much on our new deck that I have decided to replace all of the railing on my other deck with the same. The old wood took a beating in the sun, but the Trex holds up and keeps its color.

Has anyone actually USED this product?

Color Problems Ruining Deck Look

I am using Trex in a 1000 ft sq deck job. I decided on Trex Transcend Island Mist. A third of the way through I started running into boards that have serious coloration discrepancies with the rest of my deck. My vendor contacted the Trex rep to address the issue and two days later, nothing. I am stuck waiting. The product might be good, but color quality control is very poor. See attached photo. What would you do in the middle of this big of a project? Take a look at the photo, the boards on t...

Great product but $96 for a 16 foot board?

Trex is a great product but what is Lowe's thinking selling this color at $6 per linear foot? That's outrageous, hence the low rating.

Amazing texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, it is absolutely beautiful the texture is amazing and the heaviness and strength is wonderful. My patio is 3 years old and the wood looks horrible already with this it will last forever beautiful. The color is rich and the ridges look real, you will love this product.

Very sturdy and well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board is very sturdy and well made. The texture and color is very nice. It cuts well and drills nicely with little splintering. The lava rock color is very rich looking and appealing.

smooth and pretty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i only have a piece of this material but its nice to look at seems very sturdy and is close enough to a wood look if that's what you are going for.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deck board appears to be good quality. I stepped on it and poured water on it. The water slid right off the board. If I was to build a deck, I would definitely consider this brand.
