Doesn’t work

I had high hopes for this trap. I bought 2 packages. Baited a half a dozen times each with peanut butter and have yet for a mouse to trip any of the traps.

Easy to set

Easy to set, the issue is the mouse gets trapped but it’s not strong enough to kill them.

Doesn’t work

If you want to feed the mice in your house, buy these. I bought these two weeks ago and every night they eat the bait off the trap but never set it off, they even scoot them around the floor without setting them off. I’ve taped them to the floor and even stuffed the bait further back, I’m just feeding them at this point.

Terrible

I bought this product and did not work. Mouse literally licks peanut butter off trap and keeps it moving. This product has helping feed the mouse. Mouse brought their friends to my house to have a Halloween peanut butter party. Do not recommend -1/10.

Live catch only

I've used these traps and have caught 3 mice. 1 yesterday and 2 tonight. None of which died right away even when caught by the neck. Another ran with the trap and I can't find it. Can't recommend the trap at all especially when it can humanely kill a mouse caught by the neck.

Good results so far, but two small issues

I've had good results with this trap, but have only two minor issues: 1 - I find cheese-flavoured mini-rice cakes to be a good bait, as they're light enough to keep a trap from snapping; but the bait cup is so small that I end up having to put a bunch of pieces through the hole instead. It would be great if the bait hole were a little wider - unless you have any suggestions as to how to utilise this bait without using the bait cup. 2 - When I've managed to resolve the rodent issue (site...

Easy and effective

I love that these are reusable and they’re super easy to set up!

A better mouse trap

I have been trying to trap mice using wooden traps for well over a month and they kept stealing the bait. Placed these against the wall where I know they travel and had two dead in four hours. Very effective and easy to use.

Traps don't stay set

We bought these traps as an alternative to the standard traps hoping they would be easier to set. We caught 1 mouse in each of the two traps in 24 hours. Now the traps won't stay set, they just snap shut. Very disappointing and expensive for only 1 use!

Works 2 out of 10 times

Purchased four of these traps, two in garage, two on deck in grill and under fire table, use peanut butter for bait, have trapped three mice but numerous times, peanut butter licked clean without tripping trap or trap tripped but no mouse.

Sprung, but no rat.

I have had the trap sprung two times and no rat. What am i doing wrong? Thanks

The good and the weird

Just purchased two rat size of these traps after using glue traps before which I found overly messy if you have dogs and less humane when a rat gets into it. Somehow the rat completely licked clean the peanut butter from the new snap trap and never tripped it to snap. Very weird The second trap however caught one on the first night of use so that’s good. I love that these are extremely easy to set up but confused how the rat licked clean the other trap without tripping it.

Will not harm larger animals or children

Humane and quick. I have them all over the building where there is a kitchen. What is so great is that it will not harm your pets yet it will quickly kill a mouse. My dog is very greedy and I found one hanging on her lip. Did not hurt her but she calmly came to me to remove So they are safe and I had to relocate them behind the stove where my dog could not reach.

Traps won't set consistently and often go off

Bought these traps to use in the kitchen and basement. The first few times I set them they seemed to work well, but they sometimes do not kill the mouse. they are still wiggling when I got to the trap the next morning. The biggest problem is that after 3 or 4 sets, they will no long set, they snap instantly when I let go of the trap, this, even with no bate in them. I have tried to look inside and see if I could figure out what is not catching. This latching mechanism is a poor design and tho...

Nice features but ...

The traps work great, when I could set them. I bought a bunch of them for basement and garage, and caught many mice. But after a few years some of the traps became difficult to set. The catch mechanism failed to work. I searched the website for tips and solutions but found nothing. Also, I found zero customer support available. I feel that the high price of the trap is worth it, as long as there is a way to repair traps that don't work anymore.

Not Sensitive Enough

I've had mice take the bait (a piece of dog food) multiple times so I smeared peanut butter on the trap trigger and pressed dog food into it (our mice seem to love dog food). Not only did the mice take the dog food, they cleaned all the peanut butter off as well. I've used another brand's version of this and they worked well. Theses? Not so much.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product. This product works as it claims. We always get mice when the season changes. We placed these in our garage prior to the spring...we are happy to report we did not get any mice that were able to make it into out home.
