What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this composite decking for its natural wood-like appearance, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance requirements. Reviewers highlight the rich color depth, convincing grain texture, and ability to resist rot, warping, and fading without staining or painting. Many find installation straightforward, noting clean cuts and solid construction. A small number report minor issues with board warping upon arrival or fastening challenges in cold weather, though most consider these exceptions. Overall, customers view this as a long-lasting, attractive alternative to traditional wood.

Two of us, one who has done carpentry, installed this in a deck refurbishment project. It looks great, but was a learning experience.

Not just for decks!

Would Recommend

We have a children’s sized park bench at our front door. I used this product to replace the wood. It looks great and should last decades without a lot of care.

Dislike I didn’t know that you can’t butt boards together they have to be spacing with the specific type connectors for composite boards so I had to go back to Lowe’s and buy them The boards are fine but was not informed about the connectors by Lowe’s associates or anybody

Bent to bad to use.

Would Not Recommend

I need one to finish a job. There were about 50 of these on the shelf and everyone had a bend in it starting 3 feet from the end. I tried to use it and was unable to get it to lay flat. I'll have to find another one at some other store.

That being said they require the framing to be a bit more robust because they are not engineered to span wide gaps without bending (especially in hot weather). When installing in cold weather you have to be very careful to prevent them from splitting when putting in fasteners. I used the recommended screws and was very careful in ensuring that the...
