My go to soil for all mixes.
Would RecommendI needed some tip soil to cover an area where we removed trees. I have used rhis before and the price is perfect. The spreadability works for large areas and the compaction is good. Each bag is pretty consistent so I always grab a few. I had some leftover and used it in my house plant mix. The aeration and drainage is good enough for the tiny ones to root safely.

More wood chips than dirt.
If you're expecting good fill dirt, I would not recommend this. It's damp, spongy, doesn't pack well at all. Not good to fill in lawns voids. I put two bag in one rather small low spot and went I rode over it with the lawn tractor it sunk just like the void was still there. It's like passing over a sponge. Just sinks down and springs right back up making it look as if it's filling but isn't. I'll keep putting it in and I assume it will eventually rot into solid soil, but might take years. I purc...
