Reasonable price, and perfect for my backyard project. Compacts and spreads nicely.

Not soil

If I dumped it out you would not call it soil, it looked like it had been in a compost pile for six months, black with no resemblance of dirt (soil).

Don't Buy

This Product is not good mulch,sand,gravel,garbage,rubbermetal,looks like some one went to dump to load up that after some one try to burn it.And if you are using to fill holes or flower beds,you will 6 months have to buy more to fill the garden flower bed up.you after 6 months only have half left in bed.

Works well over lawn seed on bare spots

A good value for patch repair on lawns using a quality lawn seed. There are occasional wood-chips in it, which may or may not be a problem. I picked off a few larger ones to make sure they didn't hinder germination.

Danger to pets

Don’t use this product in your yard? If you have a pet that likes to chew on stuff they don’t fully tell you what the dangers are until you Google it and find out that this top soil will kill your dog and you need to rush him to the vet if he eats a lot of it so I still don’t know why you guys are selling this soul for residential i’m 70 years old just went out my yard and had to dig up 200 pounds of soil purchased September 5,2026

Contains broken glass and aluminum shards

I left a review a couple weeks ago right after I bought 15 bags to help with putting out some grass seed. After the first time I cut the grass I was able to really see all the trash and rocks that were in the soil. I’m also finding pieces of broken glass. I will never buy this product again. I have kids that run around in this yard and I’m having to go over it inch by inch to pull all the broken glass and shards of aluminum out. Spend an extra quarter or so per bag and get a much better product ...

Get more than soil

Sure it’s dirt but I don’t need rubber pieces and the smell of burnt tires/chemicals that takes days for the smell to go away

We used this for my kids garden and it spread great and was easy to use

Excellent Topsoil

I use this top soil mixed with mushroom compost everywhere. My plants love it.

It was perfect for filling in a small puddle in our yard.
