Anchored roofing and polycarb into thin material
We have used these for screwing metal roof panels and polycarb sheets for under decking to create a dry area. Worked really great for both applications. When using a closure strip I had size up to one and a half inches but these work great without the strip when drilling into thin material.

Is there a larger diameter in case these wear out?
This has a flat washer(Gromit). I have noticed some that have a dome.. time will tell, but I wish I were thinking at the time and got a version with a dome. Just a theory, but I think the dome would’ve protected the rubber better. Time will tell but hope expansion and contraction doesn’t wear this out prematurely.
