What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these self-drilling roofing screws for exceptional performance and durability. The built-in drill tips effortlessly penetrate thick and thin metal—including 26-gauge panels, 14-gauge tubing, and 1/4-inch steel—without pre-drilling. Users highlight successful applications across metal roofing, corrugated panels, galvanized siding, shed roofs, and mobile home installations. The zinc-plated finish and integrated dome washers with O-ring seals ensure long-term weather resistance and leak-proof fastening. Many report decades of reliable use. A few note isolated instances of premature dulling or unsuitability for metal-to-wood work. Overall, reviewers consider them excellent value and recommend them for demanding fastening projects.

Used the Teks screws to attach my galvalume siding to my garden bed frame and it went through the siding so easily it made installation a breeze.

Self-Drilling Roofing Screws
Would RecommendLike the little container. Screwed 26 gauge metal panel to 14 gauge square tube. Push hard since drill tip not very sharp.

Not for metal to wood!
Would Not RecommendI never leave negative reviews, but I feel in this case I must. These screws are described incorrectly. The photo on the box shows the screw attached metal to metal. They would work great for this. The description however says they are for metal to wood. I found this not to be the case. The threads of this screw are not intended for wood and would not hold at all when I tried it. I was 45 minutes away when I determined this and luckily someone else at the site had some proper screws that ...
Great quality.
Would RecommendWorked allot better than other screws I purchased at a couple of metal supply companies.
