Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this drill bit for exceptional performance in concrete and masonry, reporting excellent cutting speed, sharpness, and reliability when paired with a hammer drill. Many note it outperforms competing brands with superior dust clearance and sustained sharpness through multiple holes. Most users successfully drill through tough materials including decades-old concrete. However, some customers report premature dulling after just a few holes or bending during use, which occasionally prevents proper screw installation. Despite these occasional failures, the strong majority consider it highly effective for masonry tasks.

Good, strong drill bit
Would RecommendAfter it rained water would pool on my Lanai along the border of the bird cage. I needed a good, long, masonry drill bit to drill drain holes along this border. This carbide masonry drill bit did the trick and made short work of the drilling project.

Works great on tile and concrete
Would RecommendI burned a couple other brand bits trying to drill 1.5" holes for anchors in concrete and through tile. In a 1/2" hammer drill (not even an SDS) this chewed right through the job. A total of 15 holes for Tapcon screws and all I had to do was let it cool between runs.
Great Cement Drill Bit
Would RecommendDrill through cement very easily.

Not for concrete
Would Not RecommendIt works on bricks but it simply does not work on concrete slabs although its description says so otherwise; it barely drilled in 1" of 4" a concrete slab.

Figure what needs to be done, get the materials
Would RecommendI had to install some 4” square posts up against a cinder block wall. The posts did not carry any substantial weight. Using a wood drill bit; I pre drilled the holes in the posts. I Leveled the posts to the cinder block wall; Used this cap con Drill bit in the pre drilled holes and drilled into the cinder blocks. I needed the length to be able to reach the wall.

DO NOT BUY.
Would Not RecommendWasn't even able to make 2 holes with it. Dulled Quickly and blued like it overheated. Had to finish with a cheap Harbor Freight bit that worked better. And is still in my box for another use.
