What Customers Are Saying
The corner tape product is generally well-received for its ease of use and ability to create a sturdy, professional-looking corner finish, even for DIY drywall projects. It is versatile for both inside and outside corners, including non-90 degree angles. While some users noted a learning curve and difficulty concealing the edges on outside corners, the majority of reviewers were satisfied with the product's performance and quality.

Would Not RecommendSo I purchase this because the people who hung the Sheetrock before I got there did a horrible job linning up and the joints so I needed a wider product to keep everything in line and level I ended up not using this and went back to lowes and grabed the 10’ sticks of the paper corners they were much wider and allowed me to accomplish the finish I was looking to get. If your seems are tight and level this product should work fine I just like the rigidity of the paper corner 10’ sticks.
Works Great
Would RecommendHave used several different types of corner tape, including the plastic and "full metal" types where most require screws / nails...and this one worked out great! Just need to make sure you apply a decent amount of mud to the corners BEFORE you put this product on, and then use something like a 6" taping knife to smooth it out and then run a clean first coat up / down the wall to the corner (with the excess mud you will get from working it out smooth from the corners). The 2nd & 3rd coats are t...

Stick with regular paper tape
Would Not RecommendI bought this reinforced paper tape thinking it would make for a stronger inside corner joint. It end up creating more headaches than it was worth. Because of the metal strips, it was very difficult to get the paper tape to adhere to the wall without any bubbles. This joint tape requires a lot more work to install than regar paper tape. Save the money and time and stick with the regular tape
Sure Corner 2"x100' Solid Joint Tape
Would RecommendThe Sure Corner tape is a versatile dry wall tape able to cover flat joints, and corners (in or out facing) completely. It also has a low profile, so very little joint compound is needed to cover its edges. It worked well for my project.

Metal tape
Would RecommendThis tape has metal in the center which is great for Corners, inside and out. Much easier to use than other tape or metal strips.

Makes me look like a pro
Would RecommendFantastic! I'll never repair corners again without it. I highly recommend this product. Just be sure to use plenty of mud on the wall before applying it.
Good Product
Would RecommendWorked great for spackling a 45 degree angle where a true 90 degree was too much.

Steel corner tape.
Would Not RecommendI bought this tape as a diy project and out of the box I noticed that it can be troublesome for a rookie. It requires a bit of joint compound under it to adhere to the wall and an especially large amount of mud on top due to the steel strips in it. If you are looking for reinforcement to your corners I would recommend using a plastic or metal nail on exterior corner piece and compounding over that but for inside corners this tape is ok at best. Rememder I’m a diyer not a pro.

Easy to use
Would RecommendWent up very easy and finished easier than all metal corner bead. Only down side I can see is it may not take impact as well so I wouldnt recommend on high traffic corners(like passage ways)

Easier to use than the 8 foot solid corners
Would RecommendThe thing I like about this roll product is it is easy do all the small jobs with lots of corners. You just measure cut, fold and place. It does as well as the solid corners and is actually a bit easier to feather out with no lines.

Great idea... but fail.
Would Not RecommendI generally use a similar product to this... had to buy in a pinch. Here's my issue with it: the edges ripple when running a blade over it. I just spent a day taping using this, and had to re-apply more mud than I should have just to cover up the edges. Which takes time, and energy, and money. I've never had a problem with its competition. Ever.
Really good for inside corner drywall joints !
Would RecommendWe are replacing 37-year old paper tapes where they have separated from drywall joints where sheetrock walls meet sheetrock ceilings. Metal reinforcing strips on underside of this new joint tape really helps to stiffen paper tape when it is folded along center crease, after cutting to length of joint. This makes new joint tape much easier to press into horizontal drywall joint for trial-fit, and also later for pressing into bed of new joint compound (drywall "mud").

Sure Corner ? Absolutely yes!
Would RecommendI have been an amateur dry waller for years. Living in this 100 year old house, you have to be. Nothing is square or plumb, but you do your best. We are redoing out bathroom and I used this product at each junctions and the corners are the sharpest, tightest things in the room. Thin out your mud and put plenty on. I used the Kobalt drywall inside corner trowel (because I had one from the last time I tried this using paper tape). I know that you can use it with a regular putty knife, but the corn...

A Real Money Saver
Would RecommendI was skeptical about this product, but decided that since I would have to pay much more money to purchase individual corners, I would give it a try. Just measure the length you need and cut, using regular scissors, then fold to either use as an outside or inside corner. Prepare the area and install as usual..............finished product looks great.
