CAN'T GET LID ON

I received 6 of these as a (gag) gift because I keep many different beverages in my fridge at once. Attempting to get the lid on is impossible and usually results in the entire container dumping over (only once then I kept it in the sink while trying to get the lid on). I've only gotten a lid on once and have tried a few of the other containers. This is a battle I do not wish to undertake.

New design for top does not work

Old 1 gallon pitcher design (dark blue top with yellow spout cover) worked OK for price. New design with light blue/green top & lid is difficult to open/close and broke after a week because I had to push so hard to open/close it.

Leaky and Spout Lid falls off

I LOVE STERILITE.. I grew up not far from the Company in Massachusetts, I love supporting home economy, and hardworking friends/family/neighbors... Prefer to purchase Made In USA. As such, I have for years, tried to purchase Sterilite products when I can.. they often have great storage ideas, and are extremely reasonable to obtain. good design poor performance

I purchased 2 of these after my divorce. I love the size and shape of these pitchers. However, the lid on one cracked near where the cap snaps in after about a month. The other one seems to leak when pouring. I know they were inexpensive but I expected better performance and greater durability.

Awesome lid

This is a sturdy pitcher; tight lid, easy to hold and pour, great all around.

Durable, space efficient pitcher

I love my 1 gallon Sterilte pitcher for keeping iced tea always in my fridge. I've purchased 3 of them now. I'm on my 2nd one at home, the first lasting for seven or eight years and in constant use all year long, and I purchased one to keep iced tea in my mom's fridge so I have it ready when I'm there. Excellent and Economical

I love these pitchers. They are very versatile, easy to use, easy to clean and cost wise they are very economical.

Super product and no leaking

I always have this pitcher full of Water, so that I have cold water everytime. It's kinda tricky to get things out of the fridge so I'm literally lucky to have found this one, whenever I have to get it out of the side I don't have to worry about any spilling at all.

Perfect On-the-Go Pitcher

Love this pitcher, especially for summer picnics! It's super easy to fill with water, lemonade, sangria, etc. and take it on the go! Never had any issues with leaks or drips, as the lid is quite secure and makes it easy to pour. I'd definitely recommend this pitcher!

Lid fails to seal

Great idea, very useful size/dimensions, BPA-free, and structurally sound. Yet the lid fails to seal and leaks every time liquid is poured. This is the lid, at the front, underneath the spout, not the spout itself. The spout cover worked fine, although it tended to come completely off a few times- it snapped back together okay.

Spout doesn't work

Bought this because it's made in the USA and am very disappointed. The spout doesn't work properly, the spout won't snap into the spot, so I have to remove it every time I want to pour water from the pitcher.

Liquid leaks/drips from between lid and pitcher

Unfortunately, both 1-gallon containers leak from between front of lid, despite lid firmly fitting on pitcher. Although dishwaher-safe, have always washed by hand.

Ice Tea

Needed a good container for Ice Tea. This is well made, super price and Made in USA

Poor design of the lid

The lid is very difficult to remove since the tab broke after approximately 20 uses. The tab is not strong enough to last.

Odor

This container has a terrible odor to it and I have tried everything for the last 3 weeks to get it out. What a waste of time and money

Great for iced tea!

Fits nicely in fridge. I steep a dozen tea bags in half-filled with cold water, later add the rest heated, from the kettle, and let steep several hours or overnight. Sweeten to taste or add raspberry syrup. Better than store bought or powdered mix!

Love these pitchers!

I have at least 4 of these pitchers. They are great for picnics and store easily in a cooler! I also use them for hubby's special made ice tea! I wash them in the dishwasher and the only problem I have with them is I lose the round piece. Of course with 5 kids, 17 grand kids and 8 great grand kids with one more on the way, what should I expect! LoL

Not what I hoped for

I purchased this container to use for juice and water in the refrigerator. Upon use and the first time I poured the lid leaked at the spout. Looking at it close the lid does not fully seal around the top of the container which causes the leak. Due to the leak it is not usable for its intended purpose.

Very Durable

I bought one of these to hold sugar at my business, mainly because I figured the spout would come in handy when dispensing the sugar. It worked so well that I have purchased two more. The containers seal tightly, so they would also work great for beverages.

Many choices!

With 7 grandchildren we keep three pitchers in the frig with various drinks. Life span about 2-3 years because of the lid. It seems the pitcher lasts forever. Until the're all in college you have a steady customer for multiple purchases.
