What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly report thriving plants and strong growth across indoor and outdoor varieties, often comparing results favorably to premium competitors. Many praise the rich texture, balanced nutrient content, and moisture retention without compacting. The exceptional value for cost is a dominant theme, with reviewers noting significant savings versus pricier brands. However, some customers report issues with gnats, mold, or wood debris, and a few experienced plant failure. Despite these concerns, most consider the soil an excellent choice for reliable plant performance at an affordable price.

potting soil
Would RecommendI have used this in the past and it works well, but was given the wrong product on my latest online pickup order.
Never Again
I'm trying to redo my planters and my Butterfly Garden. I set forth to do a massive replanting today and I grabbed my stack of bags. I found a board with nails in the bag of potting mix. The broken board had nails in it.
don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendVery disappointed in this product. On sale, I guess you get what you pay for. All sticks and my bags had large rocks also. Mold was starting on the side with perforation. Will not buy again!

Nothing special
As noted by another reviewer there’s little to no soil in this mix. And it has a strange chemical/petroleum smell that makes me concerned enough not to use it.

Would RecommendPotting soil with gnats
Would Not RecommendI gave the sta green potting soil a try mainly because of the price so I purchased two bags. I was very disappointed, all my pots/ plants were full of gnats. I don’t recommend.

No Soil
Would Not RecommendSo I opened a bag of this potting mix and there’s no actual soil to speak of in the bag. The bag was mostly unfinished wood mulch of different colors and varieties, sticks, and very little finished soil. I’ve loved their soil for years, but this bag was all bulk and no soil. I had to add amendments to it which did not help at all.
