Ratings & Reviews for Squire Locks All Terrain Combination Padlock, 2-1/8-in Wide x 1-in Shackle

Love it

A really good quality lock. Very easy to set up. I love that the lock numbers are covered to protect it from the elements — so no more rusty numbers. The lock itself is so so sturdy and very hard to break or tamper with.

I have questions, but don't know where to direct tm

Where do I direct my questions? I already did this review once, but did not include pictures. I also got an email showing thaT i WAS GOING TO GET A 2ND LOCK TO REVIEW, but that never happened. You probably can't find my previous review. I is tax time and I have other priorities right now

A sound choice in mid-level security.

This waterproof combination lock is a solid choice for those seeking mid-level security for a storage unit, greenhouse, garage, or even a tool box. Its sturdy build provides reliable protection against the elements in all kinds of weather conditions. The combination mechanism is user-friendly, with a smooth rotation and no keys to lose or forget at home. It is easy to reprogram the lock's combination. While not as secure as high-end models, it offers decent protection from casual tampering or t...

Time will tell

On first look it seems like a cheap lock. The rubber number cover doesn't seem very durable. The programming instructions are not included, you have to scan the package to get instructions. Not convenient if you don't have your phone. Push button release could be a problem if corrision happens. Clasp could have been wider, see picture. Time will tell isf this lock holds up.

Good but not great

To set up the personalised 4 digit number is pretty easy. No instructions on there but to scan QR code for a video. Looks fairly water/weatherproof. My only slight gripe is that the plastic cover flap to weather protect the number sliders is not easy to seal shut - there is a tiny slot to locate the cover latch in to. Other than that, the bright blue finish provides an obvious visual deterrent to casual observers! Still recommend for locking not too expensive things!

Good lock and easy to use

Used on a cattle gate to keep dogs in yard, easy to use. Since I do not use QR codes very often, that was a bit challenging. Once I got going with the QR codes I managed to get the lock combination set.

Reliable lock

This lock was easy to use and held up well in the cold and rainy weather conditions. The large loop made it easy use with gloves on. I would recommend this product.

Great lock and very sturdy

Great lock, I really like the extended top portion which fits perfectly on my side garage door. Seems very durable and solid lock. I use a lot of locks on my doors and this one works perfectly.

Heavy-Duty and Weatherproof

This SQUIRE SQ-CP50ATLS padlock is one of the best combination locks I’ve used. It’s extremely strong, and I feel secure using it. The weather-resistant design is a huge plus since it stands up well to rain and dust without jamming or rusting.

Attractive lock with interesting features.

This is a very attractive exterior lock and feels rugged. The plastic enclosure is comfortable in your hand. The flip open door over the tumblers is OK however it only keeps debris out and not water. Also, it makes the tumblers somewhat recessed and a little harder to turn. Setting the combination was a chore for one, because you had to go online and find the lock and then watch a video. NO instructions in the package. Setting it was a little odd but once done it was fine. The pushbutton t...

Combination lock

The lock seems to be very good quality I really like the the way you set your own combination didn’t get clear instructions on how to do so I went online and figured it out

Nice lock for a trailer

This is an easy to use padlock. the numbers are easy to see and move without any problem. It also has a nice weight to it and does not feel cheap. The best feature is the extended loop, which makes using it on a trailer very convenient.

Quality lock w/ cover to protect from the elements

This heavy duty lock will likely outlast my current need for a padlock! The product itself is worth FIVE stars but the process of changing the combination was a little tricky. I love the fact that it has a helpful flap to protect the interior from the elements, however....as a female with long nails, I had a lot of difficulty actually setting the combination! The packaging instructs you to scan a QR code but this takes you to a registration screen. Once registered, it does NOT redirect to inst...

Amazing padlock

This padlock seems to be perfect for the use I intended ie on a locker on my garage. Sturdy, weatherproof, easy to lock/unlock .... even looks good! Very happy with my choice. It is highly recommended

Marine grade

Was looking for an outside weather resisent lock and ended up choosing the marine grade one from squires! I liked the cover over the combo and the pure stoutness of the lock as a whole. Setting up combo was super easy to follow intructions!

Overall a good usable lock.

Its a pretty good lock, easy to use. Being weatherproof is nice. Its just pretty odd to use a philips screw in order to change the combination. I tried to use it on my red brand toolboxes but unfortunately it didnt fit those. It did fit on a waterproof case and my tool shed. Since its waterproof i plan to use it when i need to lock up something in the back of my truck.

Great for outdoor use

This is a nice heavy duty lock. We currently have this on our side gate latch and it has proven strong through the elements. Living in Florida, this is very important with our weather.

Good outdoor/indoor lock

This is a solid lock that is good for most outdoor or indoor applications. The textured rubber grip makes it easy to hold when putting in the code and the rubber around the combination cover helps seal out water. The dial operation is smooth making it easy to use. The package contains a QR code that makes it easy to access a video with instructions to reprogram the combination, and that process is simple to execute.

Nice solid lock that needs instructions

This lock is good quality, easy to use, has a little door to guard the combo from the weather. The only thing it is missing are instructions - you have to download these from the Internet. Until I got an Internet connection I couldn't figure out how to use it. Everything should come with at least basic instructions in the package.

Great rugged lock

Very nice pad lock that is marine grade or severe weather. The lock has a rugged case with a cover over the tumbler lock combination. With this lock you register it thru website from a QR code then you will find an instructions and video how to set a combination code that you personally like. When doing so there is a set screw that you don’t need over tighten it just snug or it won’t work. The only thing I didn’t like the tumblers are small especially in the space underneath cover. Overall a gr...
