This is exactly what is needed for most string trimmers, especially today's battery-powered trimmers. It has a tough core, a spiral outer cladding, and a lightweight feel. I believe the spiral shape reduces wind resistance and promotes clean, effective trimming. There is 200 ft in this spool, so its going to last a long while. Strong As Solid Line Twice It's Diameter

I purchased the . O65 line because they tout it's strength and "Duracore" and I wanted to give it a test. Normally I get the . O8 filament at least for my gas trimmer. I was not disappointed! It held up just as well, even when using it like an edger which eats up line and usually breaks it. The DuraCore did great and held up. I could also fit more on my spool which is nice since loading that is a pain. It would be nice if they included a line cutter on the package.

0.065 trimmer line

I loaded the DuraCore 0.065 trimmer line onto my 18v trimmer and used it on my yard over a period of two weeks. The DuraCore worked well on light stands of grass. However, it had trouble with clumps of thick grass or weeds, I guess because the 0.065 trimmer line is very thin and light. I had trouble getting a clean line along the edge of the driveway. Whip it, perfect replacement twine

The cord works great in the trimmer, it cuts a nice clean edge. Easy instillation. Plenty of replacement cord on the bolt. It will definitely be more than enough for the season.

Flexible trimmer cord for Electric trimmers.

It is hard to make a distinction between trimmer lines of the same size. I was intrigued with the name and photo of Duracore , as though the core was made of a different material. First impression when checking the line is that it was different. The outer texture feels twisted like a licorice stick, to the touch it felt finer. Very good trimmer cord

I really like this Duracore trimmer line , it was very easy to reroll on my trimmer spools alot more flexible then other brands i have used in past .. and it cut grass, weeds quick and with minimal breakage.. will get this again !

A slight edge over others.

This is a great average product. Its pretty thin and whips well around the yard. Great for my little electric trimmer. Easily spools and lets out. Overall average product.

Thick gauge - easy to feed .

This trimming line has a very nice gauge that will take a beating . It was easy to feed onto my battery powered trimmer . I would recommend this product.

Great Trimmer Line!

I am an "old" home owner who as used string trimmers and different lines for many years. I was amazed the first time I used this line a couple of weeks ago. It cuts extremely well, especially in edging along concrete sidewalks and driveways. Without any hesitation, it is the best .065 line I have ever used!!

Very Durable

I got this to try with my Greenworks trimmer. I've been using the trimmer line that they sell already wound on the spools, the standard .065 round blue line. It works well enough, but I have a lot of masonry walls and walkways I need to trim around that just eat it up no matter how careful I am. Well this line is is pretty amazing. Thin trimmer line holds up well

I typically use a .095 or heavier trimmer line on my battery powered trimmer, so this .065 is thinner than I’m used to. To my pleasant surprise, this line has been holding up well and has actually resulted in a slightly longer run time in my battery trimmer. The thinner line also seems to act a bit more like a razor and slides the grass and weeds better than the thicker line. Definitely recommend.

Works Great in My EGO Trimmer

This trimmer line works very well in my first generation EGO trimmer. I always felt the first gen trimmers were under powered for the .080 and .095 line. The thinner DuraCore line cuts better. I think the trimmer spins faster because the line is lighter weight. I used it to cut down the ornamental grass from last year and after about 20 minutes of use I didn't have to extend any new line. DuraCore weed eater string

We have a Kobolt weed eater that takes already spoiled string. In a pinch I decided to re-spool the empty cartridge. And I must say that this is actually better string than that pre-spooled line. Very durable and lasted longer than I expected.

Great weed line

Easy to use and durable. The line has a slight ridge to it which helps cut. It held up well with use. The case keeps the line in place, which is a nice touch.

The bright red color of this trimmer line is easily seen compared to the clear color I had before. The plastic case opens and closes with push clips making the 200ft line easy to store away for future use after cutting off a suitable amount to replenish the trimmer. A simple but nice touch was the blue tape attached to the end so that you don't have to spend time locating it. Just remember to put it back on the end of the line to be stored. this trimmer looks tough , i like the color , east to spot in red and has 200 feet to last while , i like that its made of special material to last longer

Heavy duty!

The string is very heavy duty. We struggled to cut it with a normal pair of scissors and needed a utility knife which is great to chop down the weeds! The only issue is that it stuck a few times while the weed whacked was feeding it through as we went.

Thin line

This line works good but it's thin and needs changing often. Because you have to change it so often you go through a box of it rather fast. A different weight of line in this brand would be great. This line would be great for someone that didn't have a big yard.!
