Would RecommendThese work very well for me in old plaster walls if the location I want to add a box to or replace one is close to a stud.

No Issues Here
Would RecommendGreat quality. The screw in feature is way better than the mail in. Not that much more expensive if you’re doing just a few.

Sturdy
Would RecommendWiring a double gang box for a 50 amp Testla outlet so, I needed a very sturdy box to accommodate all the plug/unplug actions. A standard old-work box would eventually pull through the drywall.

Best Old Work Electrical Box Ever
Would RecommendLowes and other home centers should stock these boxes. While it is good for new and old work, I needed for old work where there was a wall stud already. I ripped out the original single gang electrical box, opened up the hole and installed this box using the two screws built-in right into the original stud. It makes for a very solid installation and doesn't depend on the strength of the sheet rock like some old work boxes do. It's a great item.
