Would RecommendThese are very solid and screw securely to the stud. Much better than regular remod boxes that grab drywall. They are also quite useful in situations where it’s hard to get a hammer into the space to install a traditional box.

Simple, solid screw-on mounting.
Would RecommendSmart Box is rugged and easy to install when you need to add a box for "old work" jobs. Find a stud, cut the hole along side, fish your wire(s) through, and screw the box to the stud. A very solid mounting, unlike boxes with "ears" or some of those other flimsy choices.
