Great basic surround sound receiver
Would RecommendBought this receiver for my man cave, it has really great sound and I really like the feature where it automatically comes on when the TV is turned on. It has been a great purchase of a basic surround sound 5.2 AV receiver. There are little things I miss from my higher priced system upstairs but at half the price I’ll live. Just make sure all your components connect by HDMI cable and not RCA jacks.

Great features and value for the price
Would RecommendPurchased 3 weeks ago to upgrade from a 2011 receiver, I found this Sony unit is a great value purchase for a "simple" 5.1 setup. It offers plenty of power for smaller home theatre rooms, has enough surround sound options to pick from, supports ARC and 4K HDMI passthru, and the user interface with easy tuning/setup are all major selling points in my book. I you want an honest value in a 5.1/5.2 receiver... I think this unit is a bargin!

Such improved sound
