Yeah this is a hard pass for me. I bought it to seal some wood tables. I switched the spray nozzle to the one listed to seal, it just sprayed a solid stream of sealer. I tried another attachment and the same thing. I bought this one specifically because it says its for decks and such. It showed which nozzle to use for what project but they all did the same thing. I wasted a good amount of the wood sealant trying to get it to work. Maybe it was just my luck to get a defective one.

Works as expected. I prefer the 2 gallon size over the typical 1 gallon size.

So I bought this to spray a sealer on my deck. It was an absolute disaster. The product pretty much "dribbled" out. I switched nozzels and the same. Thankful I had bought some pads to apply as well. Waste of $20. Trashed it.

Useful Options

This sprayer has all the functions of common sprayers, but has the added advantage of coming with several different spray tips. In this case I was looking for something to spray cleaning fluids for the siding on my house. One of the tips creates a straight, round, thick stream of fluid. That tip was able to reach to the top of the second story of our house When pumped to a high pressure. That functionality fitted my specific needs perfectly.

absolute crap

thought this would be a great sprayer, til the 2nd time it was used to spray deck sealant. the yellow locking snd on/off trigger will not turn off at all. it sprays until I let the pressure out. its still usable but I ha e no way of shutting this thing off as long as there's a liquid inside.

Buy the cheaper sprayer, no good on stain or pain.

I bought it to spray on my fence. I read the manual and used the largest stain tip and it didn’t spray, it just came out a solid stream even pumped up to max. I used all the tip and same thing. I kept it to spray thin weed killer etc. I do not recommend it to spray anything thicker than water.

Sprayer

I bought this to spray for bug, ants and spiders around my place. I like that it has a pressure release valve on it, making it easier to release the pressure before I need to refill. Without the pressure release valve, you stand a chance of getting the chemical on yourself when your start to unscrew the plunger cap.

Sprayed only 2 gallon of herbicide

I bought this in advance of good weather so I'd be ready to get those weeds that never stopped growing over the winter in the pacific NW. The last sprayer I bought never worked even once. This sprayer lasted 1 gallon. I went to refill and it wouldn't hold pressure. I added the gasket from the other sprayer and it sprayed 2 more gallons. I filled it again and NO PRESSURE, just bubbles from the top. Totally disgusted.

Deck sprayer

Easy to assemble. Did not perform as hoped using Thompsons clear sealant however. I used the nozzle suggested for the application but the sealant only came out as a trickle.
