Weak springs
The straps themselves are good quality, I own the 500lbs version and love them. The "tactical" handles have a good feel to them. HOWEVER, the springs on these get overpowered and can't resist the force when you really start to ratchet it down. If you push down on the pawl, which pushes the springs into the gear better, then you can tighten it... I compared this to other ratchet straps and many do not use two baby springs so I think an improved design without these springs is necessary.

Not enough bite!
Would Not RecommendI liked the way they looked and gave them a shot. I had to stop multiple times on my trip to tighten and finally gave up. I stopped and had to buy some others that cost much less and they worked better. I’m disappointed with these straps!!!
