DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON THESE
Would Not RecommendDO NOT BUY---Once tightly tied down, the mechanism COULD NOT tighten AND STAY LOCKED down onto the strap material enough to keep the strap tight---strap came loose on the trailer's cargo and almost my load. POOR DESIGN !! I prefer the ratcheting type. Whomever drew up the design for these straps should be fired. I suggest that Lowe's pack up all of their remaining stock, ship them back and order the ratcheting type of which you don't carry anymore for some unknown reason.

Great Straps for Tie Down
Would RecommendI purchased these straps to tie down my coolers and generator on a hitch rack for football tailgating. They work perfectly and have saved me time and money. I was using bungee cords before and had to use multiple cords and replace them from time to time. These straps are very well made. They come in separate pieces, meaning the one strap needs to be "put together" when you get them, but it was very easy to do and they work great.

Cheap but useful
Would RecommendI purchased these as a cheap solution to secure a refrigerator to a dolly for transport. I bought the 6' straps and had to use 2. I wouldn't recommend them for securing heavy loads during vehicular transport as the straps are rather small. I would purchase a larger ratchet/hook and longer straps for that application. For what I needed they worked but I would recommend beefier straps for anything else, especially with shifting cargo in a pickup. They would probably do well in a well packed U-Haul...
