Tie down straps

This is somewhat difficult to fiqure out how to use. Had to go back to store to find out how to use.

Great Product

This product is great for me securing down my lawn tractors on my trailers. Love this item.

Smart straps not so smart

When I purchased the 4-pack of straps, I fully expected that they would be pre-threaded on the ratchet. None were. I followed the inadequate instructions on the tag, so small they can barely be read. Once I had one of them threaded, I ratcheted it up, and then was unable to release it. Way to difficult to try to make work, and I will be returning them. Very poorly made and no real instructions.

Would not buy again. Returned them.

Tightened down okay. But would not release when tried to loosen . Tried all four, all did the same thing. Could not use them . Returned them to store. No instructions (with pictures) to aid in use.

Not typical Lowe's quality

When I tried to release the ratchets, two of the ratchets got all twisted because the metal was so thin. They are just not made with the same quality of material as some ratchets that I purchased from Sam's a few years back. Since Lowe's is the only hardware store that I shop, I was extremely disappointed.

Great tie downs

The only problem I had was they were shorter than I wanted. I have some that are short and they are useful ao just make sure to check the length before you buy. Great product because you can really make them snug, unlike the ones you can only pull the strap

They were very affordable and exactly what I needed!

Poor Instructions

The straps are good and easy to use. The biggest problem is threading the end of the strap into the ratchet. The instructions are nearly worthless and very difficult to visualize or understand (No pictures or drawings.). The manufacturer's online instructions are not much better. At least the online text is large enough to read. .

Could use better "S " hooks, as the ends are not big enough to hold on to even a 1/2" pipe..
