First, let me state that I received the pump for free to review it. It is well and sturdy made, heavy power cord, worked better than the one it replaced.

Great little pump

Great little pump . Love the auto shut off when water level is low. 16ft cord come with 2 adapters 1/2 Id and 3/4 Id. Works great with stone fountain.

Very strong waterflow

Instead of using this pump for a fountain, I am using it to filter my very small pond. I needed something more powerful then what I am currently using. It can push water up to 8' so I placed it at the opposite end of the pond from the return. Because it is so powerful I put it in a pre-filter wrapped in screening so my fish won't get sucked in. The waterflow isn't hampered by the filtering media in the pre-filter and my little 5 gallon filter bucket is still able to keep up with the increased...

adapters it great

I used it for now while I cleaned my pumps on my koi pond and it was easy to hook up and had a long power cord which was great . The adapters were just the right size to hook up to the hose I am going to use for my fountain feature

Nice little pump

Is a nice looking pump. Overall feel it will not last continuously for a long period of time due to the small size of pump motor. Time will tell. It was easy to put together and had three adapters to choose size hose I wanted. I was able to use a garden hose with the end cut off. When all was done looked nice.

Put out the correct amount of water.

I installed this pump with the intention of using it in combination with a previous 1000 gph pump and attach the 2 using a splitter with that i had purchased because it was not effective in operating the waterfall, but after hooking up this 500 gph pump, I no longer entained that idea since this pump is moving the water efficiently and with ease. Features seem great, can’t maintain

I won’t be installing this. The features seem great,1) 16 ft cord, 2) 1/2 or 3/4 outlets included, 3) safety shut off. However, the maintenance Instructions say to remove the Impeller cover in step two. It’s impossible to get this cover off there are no tabs to press. I tried prying it with several tools and felt I was going to break the plastic, therefore I will not be installing it because I’m never going to install some thing that I can’t maintain. I like the auto shut off when water gets low. It has a lot of power and moves a lot of water in a short period of time.

Good fountain pump

I'm in the process of getting my new fountain installed after our backyard remodeled and this pump will be perfect! I've been looking at a few different ones but was worried if they would have enough power for my 5 foot fountain. This one easily will pump 5 foot. I also like the automatic shut off if the water gets too low so it doesn't burn the pump out. Comes with 2 different tube attachments 1/2 in and 3/4 in.

It's stronger than you think

The package says 5 to 7 feet pump range. I have this hook up to my sump that is 14 feet away from my fish tank outlet that I also have a twist uv light set as well and still has power left over. I really like the auto shut off for low water. I did a test run in a 5 gallon bucket and it shut off about 10 seconds after there was no water. Nice pump with great flow

I'm using this pump as a floating fountain in my koi pond. I purchased a neat floating basket setup from an online retailer that's set up for plants or a pump, and everything working together is really slick and lightweight. Great pump

This pump has 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch adapters. It can pump 500 GPH or at 7ft height in a fountain it pumps 100GPH. It cannot pump over 8 ft tall. It has a 16 foot cord which eliminates the need for extra cords when near an outlet. It has suction cups to hold it in place and keep it upright. The adjustable knob on the front allows you to adjust the pressure up or down as needed. Great for in ground ponds. Make sure to ply this into a ground fault outlet.

the low water shut -off is a good feature to have on the pump. I used it to pump water from a fish tank, it preformed well. I am thinking of other task like that to use it

500 Gallons per hour

I used this pump in a 4 foot garden fountain and it was more than enough. The pump has some great features, such as 16ft electrical cord, low water shut off, 3 year warranty and multiple size fittings. You and use 1/2”, 5/8” or3/4”. Pump height can be adjusted and it has very strong suction cups to hold it in place. The only negative I can see is the adjustment dial is on the side but because the pump is so small, there is no other place to put it. Overall I give it a big thumbs up.
