What Customers Are Saying
The SmartCore Ultra Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring is generally considered a high-quality and visually appealing product that is easy to install. Customers praised its durability, waterproof nature, and attractive appearance, finding it to be a significant upgrade from previous flooring options. However, some customers experienced issues with the locking mechanism, reporting that the planks would come apart over time, especially in high-traffic areas. There were also concerns about inconsistent coloring and quality control, with some customers receiving defective or mismatched planks. While the majority of customers were satisfied with the product, potential buyers should be aware of the reported quality control and durability concerns.

Would RecommendEasy to install. Heavy duty love the color. Had to take a couple boxes back and exchange because color mix wasn't equal. Got one box filled with all the same color. Another just two colors. The rest were mixed fine and my replacements were all okay. Overall very happy with purchase.

Great Choice for Flooring
Would RecommendThe flooring seemed to be pretty easy to install, I had Lowe's Installers do the work. Once locked in place it made the home look very rich. The color was just right for our home and it was a great contrast to other flooring we did not want to remove. Well worth the price tag.

Hi, Sandy! We are so glad to hear that you had such a positive experience! - SMARTCORE Team
Great product, not very DIY friendly
Would Not RecommendDefinitely wouldn't recommend as a DIY. Pergo is much more user friendly for the averages homeowner. This product does not lock in easy and creates added time to finish a simple space. May end up "eating" one box and simply returning the rest for a Pergo swap out.
Thank you for your feedback, Christina. While COREtec is designed for durability, its locking mechanism can sometimes require extra precision. If you... Read More

Take a box home. Ignore the store sample.
Would Not RecommendSample in store is only one shade of plank in the box when opened at home. Other planks much darker. Wish I knew this as I would have selected another product.

They don't sell single pieces of the planks.
Would RecommendThe product was fine. The issue is I only needed two planks to complete my floor and the store said they do not sell individual pieces, I would have to buy a whole box for just two pieces. They had more than enough single pieces they were using for the display. In fact they had way more than what they needed for a display. Did I buy another box for just two pieces, NO. Luckly I still have the left over scraps and I just pieced them in somehow.
