What Customers Are Saying
The SmartCore Ultra Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring is generally considered a high-quality and visually appealing product that is easy to install. Customers praised its durability, waterproof nature, and attractive appearance, finding it to be a significant upgrade from previous flooring options. However, some customers experienced issues with the locking mechanism, reporting that the planks would come apart over time, especially in high-traffic areas. There were also concerns about inconsistent coloring and quality control, with some customers receiving defective or mismatched planks. While the majority of customers were satisfied with the product, potential buyers should be aware of the reported quality control and durability concerns.

Would RecommendShort learning curve, snapped together easily. I recommend the installation kit - hammer, spacers, and two valuable metal pieces to tighten planks.
Decent flooring! Works well with a wide variety.
Would RecommendThis flooring looks and feels great I just think there are part where it comes loose. I also think the newer boxes finally have a better variety. I’ve been upgrading my floors for 2 years and the older boxes didn’t have a good variety.

Buyer Beware
Product is good. Delivery was screwed up.Gave exact directions in detail but turns out Lowe's didn't deliver the goods, it was a third party. They worked very hard with what they were given but were expected to deliver two full pallets of flooring with nothing to do it with. Just a mess. Lowe's could do better.

Would RecommendI decided on this flooring after looking at multiple brands, colors, mils and thicknesses. I replaced old carpet in a bedroom. I bought the flooring installation kit (not sure how you'd install properly without it!) and the smartcore moisture barrier, since I was installing on top of concrete. I scored the panels with a utility knife and snapped them when needed. The install is easy. I'm 5'4, 110lbs, did this myself and I think it's beautiful.

Lost the Love; Buyer Beware
Would Not RecommendLet me start by saying, we laid over 1,000 sf of Smartcore Ultra just a couple of years ago, so we are not newbies to installing this as a DIY. I can't say it was easy, but it was doable, and when it was all finished, we loved it. It looked great and held up well to our dogs. We recently bought a new house that needed new flooring, and we decided to go with Smartcore Ultra again. This go around has been a completely different experience. We started with Blue Ridge Pine. The color was right and ...
