Would RecommendAlthough my Quantum Stylist 9960 was delivered several weeks ago I have just used it this week. I did prior to this week unbox it, verified all that was included was there and read through the manuel that was included. I was pleasantly surprised to have a manual as I thought all manuals were now on line. I much prefer to have a manual in my hand to read rather than having to download and keep looking it up. 9960 locks up every other garment
Would Not RecommendI've had mine a couple of years and didn't use it much the first year so I didn't see the problem and couldn't send it back. My bad. This thing locks up every time I change fabrics, it's jammed right now and I just tried to put a basting stitch on a single layer of skirt fabric, that locked it. The first 2 times I took it in to our machine repair shop, he fixed it. But the third time I tried it again myself after it sat powered down a few days and it decided to work fine. Would RecommendNot sure what got into me since I already have a perfectly fine sewing machine. But I became obsessed with upgrading to a computerized model and this one had such great reviews -- and an even better price on sale! So I jumped in.
