What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these steel nail plates for their effectiveness, durability, and ease of installation. Most highlight that the heavy gauge construction reliably stops nails and screws from penetrating walls and damaging hidden wires or pipes, meeting building code requirements. Many appreciate the quick installation into studs using built-in prongs, with screw holes available as an alternative. Reviewers consistently describe them as solid, sturdy, and made with quality materials. A few note the prongs require a second tap to fully secure, and some mention sizing concerns for larger applications, but these minor issues are far outweighed by strong satisfaction with performance and safety.

Great nail plates
Would RecommendThese nail plates work to keep you from nailing through wires.
Does the job
Would RecommendThese nail plates do the job for what I need. My biggest complaint is that I find that the prongs aren't quite long enough to grab the surface of the wood on first hit with the hammer.
They work great!
Would RecommendI used these to block nails/screws from hitting the electrical wire that was routed through the studs on an apartment before installing exterior sheathing. They did exactly what I needed them to do at a fraction of the cost as another product that I found in the same Lowes. They're very easy to install and a must if you want to be sure you don't cause any damage to your electrical wire or plumbing.

No Templar treasure here my friends
That puppy ain't ever coming out. In a thousand years, the Remake of Curse of Oak Island will find remnants of 1000 year old wood with nail plates and corroded nails that will be all that's left of my house.
