Would RecommendUse these straps and many times before on my rafter to top plate hold down to meet code. Make sure you get a box of Simpson number 10 hex screws. Much easier to drive than nails in between the rafters. Use your impact gun.

Perfect fit rafter tie for a wood awning
Would RecommendWorking a deck project with an awning that is hoisted/supported by woods. We have the woods beams placed on top and use these to connect the woods to the wood beams.
