The H2.5A single-sided hurricane tie is designed to resist moderate loads at the rafter/truss-to-top-plate connection. As part of a continuous load path, the H2.5A resists both lateral and uplift loads. The symmetrical design eliminates the need for separate right and left parts.

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these structural connectors for exceptional strength, durability, and ease of installation across diverse wood framing applications. The ZMAX coating resists rust in moist environments, and reviewers consistently report the ties hold up under extreme conditions. Installation is straightforward with well-designed screw hole placement that eliminates awkward fits and saves labor time. Many customers note their projects pass code inspection and meet building standards. Versatility across decks, roofs, and fence posts makes them a go-to solution. A few mention needing quality drill bits for certain materials, but overall satisfaction is overwhelming.
