I had my eyes on this garbage can for years....but was hesitant to commit. While trying to replace our old garbage can, I would compare all potential replacements against this simple human can. I finally bought one online since I couldn't find the metal butterfly in stores around me. What a smart decision I made... The garbage can arrives and it's great. The trail pack of bags quickly made our family realize we needed to have those on hand as well. Before this can, our garbage bags would rip ins...

Love my new trash container.
Love my new trash container. From its size to the soft closer. Even the design to hold the trash liners. I had seen it before in other home but you can’t even get close to how great it is until you purchase one. My number 1 purchase for 2022.

Best garbage can ever
I like this can because I can throw things away while prepping and cooking dinner without compromising my hands. It's nice looking too.

Fantastic for the kitchen!
I was not a fan of the design of the other cans that simple human has because of the opening in the back, but this one was exactly what I was looking for. It is a bit expensive for a trash can, but it is well worth what I paid for it. Well made, functions wonderfully and does exactly what I needed a can to do. Changing out the bags is the easiest I have ever seen in a can, and it is satisfying how well the simple human bags fit, but also how well the Glad 13 gallon bags fit. I am happy that I b...

2nd purchase
This is our second 45L butterfly step can. 1st one lasted 15+ years before mechanism finally gave out. Wish they offered a black finish. Very pleased w/this one. Well built and quality that shows throughout.

Best trash can ever
This is hands down the best trash can ever. Last one lasted 10 years and only gave out due to ridiculous heavy usage by our family. Highly recommend this!!

45L Butterfly
Probably the best step can we ever purchased. We struggled to locate the right can for both looks, easy function and perfect fit in our kitchen for we needed it to fit into without being in the way. This one checked off all the boxes

It seems silly to love a garbage pail but this one is worthy. Looks great and works great

I had a smaller model
I had a smaller model for 16 years and loved it. I bought this one thinking it was the same. Took a little while to get ussed to the bigger size but nowall is good. Great can simple human.

The Best Investment for Kitchen
We absolutely love this can and would have nothing else in our kitchen. Our first 1 lasted 14 years. I occasionally take it outside and wash/hose it out completely. The stay open feature is handy. We have sold many for Simple Human, just by having it in our kitchen. Everyone that visits loves it.
