Hard to believe

I can't believe I spent this much money on a garbage can, and now.. I can't believe I didn't buy this product a long time ago ! Sturdy, large capacity, just great, and another surprise, is how great the bags fit, and you can pack them full, I thank the good folks at simplehuman. Great Product.

Super convenient!

Bought this for a diaper trash can for our nursery. The step-to-open feature is perfect. Slender and sleek so it takes up minimal room and still looks classy. Cover seals well to conceal even the stinkiest diapers. Highly recommend!

best trash can ever

There will never be another trash can better than simplehuman. Ever! I use these in the salon. I Have purchased several. Absolutely in love with this product.

Well made, good looking step can

This can replaces the quite old round step can, which still looks and works great, in my kitchen. The old can now is used for recycling. Wouldn't buy another brand.

Smooth closing lid. Not very easy to install liner

Real good quality materials. Pedal operation is super smooth. My only complaint is around the difficulty of properly fitting the supplied liners. It takes 2-3 minutes to find a good fit that completely hides the liner when lid is closed.

So far so good. It's quiet and I love the lift that makes it easier to remove bags when it's time.

Hands Free For Health & Safety

I love this trash can! So simple to operate without touching anything - since we're washing our hands all the time now it's nice not to worry that the kitchen trashcan will be harboring any germs; we don't ever have to touch it! And I really love that the surface doesn't smudge or leave any marks. Great size, sleek, closes quietly!

nice for what it is, tough to use standard trash bags/liners

I had a simplehuman can that had a plastic ring that lifted and then came down around the liner to hold it in place. I could use generic liners and even empty bags from my wood pellets as trash bags. With this can, there is no ring holding the bag, and so it's harder to use non-simplehuman liners as you have to tuck the excess down the sides of the inner can, a challenge to do. I don't love this "feature".

Design improvement!

We’re huge simplehuman fans and have many products throughout our home. We had the larger version of this garbage for years and recently purchased this one for a new part of our house. I swear the design is even better. The closing mechanism is quiet and ultra slow, making for an all around great experience when dealing with utterly unpleasant thing such as rubbish. Keep up the good work, simplehuman!

Very functional & Stylish!!

I had moved & I needed to buy a new trashcan. It was replacing my old simplehuman trashcan that was 10 years old. This one was perfect shape & size for the kitchen. The quality is great like my old one. It's very functional & I love the style!!!

Like it!

I’m very pleased with this round step can. It’s aesthetically beautiful & very sturdy. The plastic bags fit so well. No slippage over the edge spoiling the view! One small detail, however: I’m a stickler for a lid that stays up while I’m cooking. Mine makes a huge noise—sometimes— when I position it so. Makes me feel as if I’m breaking it. Other times it stays put nicely without the noise. All in all, a terrific addition to the kitchen.

Thumb is sideways

Nice product, but it makes a minute sound when it closes. I thought it wasn’t suppose to make any sound.

Great size

Nice and compact in the corner of our kitchen. Sleek design. Really does not show fingerprints when you wipe it down. While I was doing dishes, a small frying pan fell on it and made a slight dent. Hopefully I don't do that again.

Functional and Elegant

With its shape and shine, the can is pleasing to look at.

Top Can

I just replaced the old model with the new. Some poor features in the old one have been fixed, especially the pedal. Also, the closing mechanism is quieter. Sorry to say, they have removed the carry/lift handle of the inside liner. Nonetheless, this is still an excellent trashcan.

Review of 30 L Round Trash Can

The trash can is attractive for what it is, but I have an older version which I like much better! My question is: Why would you discontinue a good product? The new version is bigger (taller) and I struggle to put the G size liners in it. I like it, but I like the older version better!
