Needed a large narrow recycling bin for a small kitchen. This fits the bill perfectly.

Very Happy
The trash can is attractive and functions well. I am especially happy that I can press down to compact the trash without having the liner slip down. My only quibble is that it does make a bit of a clang when it closes, when I had been hopeful it would be more or less silent.

Looks nice and is what I was looking for!
A little smaller than my old trash can, but I was looking for a simple human trash can that could fit under the kitchen counter, and this is the one!

Slick Trash can improved...
I already had this product that I purchased probably 10 years ago. So when I need another one I ordered this one...which has been improved in ALL the best places. I didn't like see the edge of the liner just below the lid. The falling lid made a loud clanging noise. All now improved in this new model. Thanks

So, I found simplehuman some time ago and really latched on. I purchased this step can as a replacement to one I had for about 15 years that finally gave out (the step broke). My previous can had a plastic top and foot. When the foot broke I was distraught because I had several G bags left. This can is the perfect size for my household.

fits in with my dark kitchen appliances
Had to return two defected trash cans to get a third one. Stellar customer service, can say it is the best. Purchased this trash can because of its height and size, fits right in the corner of my kitchen. I never have to bend over to throw out the trash anymore. Also, it is great for closing off the smell from your trash. Pondered on this trash can for about a month, I can say it is worth it.

So far so good...
Fits nicely is our small kitchen, looks great, is easy to clean, and we have not had a single bag fall in!!!! The ability to lift the inner can up and rest it tilting forward while changing the bag is such a nice feature. Keeps things mess free and allows our kids to very successfully help with garbage duties! We have only had the garbage can for about a month, but bought it after going through many cans which did not hold up or became disgusting. My parents have had this can for YEARS!! Glad we...

Not as good as the old model
We bought this about a year ago. It still works, the the one we had before was a better design. The trash bags fit better.
