It’s not stainless steel
Would RecommendIt is exactly what I was looking for, and the only one I could find to fit my space with the step in the front. But the description does say “brushed stainless steel” and the can is mostly plastic. Still giving 4 stars because it works just fine and looks good too.

Covered in dirt out of the bag
Would Not RecommendIt was covered in dirt on arrival. Since I have an apartment, I had to put it in the tub and douse it in disinfectant…then wash the tub.

Great trash can
This is our second Simple Human trash van, as we are replacing all the trash cans in our house. It is quiet close, which I love. It has a sturdy step to open the lid. I like this plastic trash can just as much as I like our metal one. I highly recommend.

Would Not RecommendTrash can works great. But beware, this is NOT stainless steel! It is a plastic trash can! The only part that is stainless steel is the pedal and the part to hold the bag. Waaaayyyyy overpriced for a PLASTIC trashcan!!!
