Love this trash can!

Had a problem with my dogs getting in my trash can and pulling everything out of it. No more! I purchased this trash can with a lock and it is great. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

Pretty good, not great for the price

Initially I thought this was a great trashcan just a little pricey. Looks great, opens and closes well and you can lock the lid. I like the trashcan but it has a few small flaws I wouldn’t expect for the price. #1 Its a unique size because they want you to buy their trash bags that are rediculously over priced. So normal trash bags don’t fit. I bought Hefty 13g trash bags to mitigate that. Bags are a little small but they work just fine. #2 I have tile on my floor and when you push the foot ...

Simplehuman semi round 50L trash can

I had one of these for 6 years and finally replaced it with another one just like it. They work well and are sturdy cans.

Love the soft close. No more loud bang when shutting the lid!

I really like this trash can. The foot pedal works well, you don't have to touch the lid.

Great Vs Kids

So... Me and the wife pretty much bought this to combat our curious 1yr old son and so far so good. Works like a champ and it's not easy for my 3yr old daughter to open it as well.

Great but....

This has been great so far. My only complaint is that Lowe’s doesn’t carry the bags that actually fit this can. It came with a few free size P liners from simple human but they don’t carry them in the store or online. It’s extremely frustrating.

The simplehuman Semi-Round 50-Liter Black Plastic Trash Can is better than most trash cans out there. It’s sturdy, lockable for pets, and it allows the trash bag to breathe on the bottom so no more adjusting the bag

Sturdy but....

Sturdy but a pain to assemble. Brute strength is required to snap the lid on. Uses a specific type of garbage bag that's ridiculously expensive. I use the glad bag and it fits and it's cheaper.

Not today, Lucy!

Searching for a garbage can for our new home. I wanted something attractive but priced reasonably. I came across this model but bought it because it said pet proof and had a lock. My 13 year old chocolate lab Lucy enjoys the game of “destroy the garbage”. Well, not today Lucy! Style, value, safety (lid falls slowly), and by ththe picture? Lucy Proof!!!!

Works well

Wanted a trash can for the kitchen with a lid to keep out a nosy dog, and this works great. Uses a standard large kitchen garbage bag, easy to use. Would recommend it.

Love this trash can. The lid does not smack down, it goes down slowly & quietly. I keeps the smells in the can so my kitchen does not get smelly. Love it. Worth the price.
