The caddy works as described. I would have returned it but it’s the best I found. For us TBH it’s just too small. I liked the rectangle shape so I can stash it under my kitchen sink when we have guests or I need the counter space. I’d love the same shape but three inches taller and a little wider.

NYC just instituted mandatory composting, and finding a compost bin that would work in a small city apartment was challenging . This is actually perfect. It has a small profile, and looks chic and cool in matte black. And for me, it holds just enough for up to 3 days of food and paper scraps.

Perfect recycling food bin
I am so glad that I bought this recycling compost food bin. I hung it under the sink and it makes it easy to do the job. I had one small bin from the disposal center and I had to reach for it and open it creating many steps. The simple human makes the composting easier and neater.
